Blind Aid

Group: Visually impaired adults

Description: A weekly art class for partially sighted adults based at the Osmani Centre in East London, funded through Blind Aid. A small, chatty, sociable session with lots of tea and biscuits.

Working with bright colours and tactile materials such as mod roc, air dry clay and textured fabrics, the participants were able to engage with different kinds of visual arts activities at their own pace e.g. making mobiles and small sculptures sometimes over a number of weeks.

This group is currently on pause due to funding difficulties but hopes to resume ASAP..
