Description: DeafBlind UK support people with combined sight and hearing loss to live the lives they want. The charity run regular meet up groups in Camden, Tower Hamlets, Mile End and Loughton. I worked with them on a number of special events to deliver creative workshops which were sensory based.
I used materials such as fresh herbs, wild flowers and essential oils. Activities include things such as chatting about recipes and folk tales whilst making herbal teas, bouquets, pressing leaves and seeds into air drying clay, making small lavender pillows and mixing essential oils.
