Group: Mainstream schools and colleges
Description: Street Style Surgery runs creative workshops that teach young people a vast array of exciting new skills. I work as a facilitator for Street Style Surgery in schools and colleges on an ad-hoc basis, usually for a special event or to celebrate the beginning or end of term. The workshops are high energy, often consisting of quite large groups of between 30-60 children. Previous sessions have included things like bag design and printing, art from recycled materials and african art.
Feedback: 'Rhian is passionate, kind and in control and the children responded really well to her style. She's kind and approachable too which is fabulous.' - year 8 teacher, South London primary school.
