The girls had woken up from a sleepover at a special Girl Guide facility in Croyden that were hosting a county day for troops of rainbows. I took two lots of groups of 30 outside to experience 3 different mixed media illustration techniques using 'Wildlife' as the subject matter.
The techniques involved using reeds & inks to draw from insect photography, white spirit & oil pastels to illustrate model birds, and candles with water colours to illustrate fresh flowers.
The Girl Guide leaders fedback that the girls really enjoyed the workshop and all had artworks they were proud of to take home.
